Wow! I can't believe it has been a month already since we launched Sunday morning services. We had a rockin' New Year's Eve Party & Preview Service to ring in the new year (btw, I cannot believe it is already 2011). So many people at our current church (Carlisle) have been so supportive of Dave & I as we take this next step of faith and start Lifeblood. We cannot thank them enough. I never knew how hard it would be to start a church from the ground up. So many hoops to go through and so many issues to think about. You'd think it would be quite simple.
We launched Sunday morning worship services on 9 January 2011. Our services at Lifeblood over the last month have been wonderful. The Lord has blessed us with His presence and we just cannot wait to go back each week. Dave & I are excited to see what the Lord has in store.
It seems like a common theme the Lord is putting on people's heart latey is "that we are all missionaries/disciples of Christ" and not just "good church people." That will be a topic for another blog. We are to be "outward" thinking, not "inward" thinking Christians. We (all Christians) are called to serve others, not ourselves. For now, please remember us in your prayers.
